The river of life flows constantly through the body and it cannot be stopped without consequences.

about me

My name is Madeline (she/her) and I am here because I deeply believe in the power of this work. Core Energetics and other somatic oriented healing modalities have had a profound effect on my own life and I am grateful to share this with others. This work is transformational, grounding, and healing on all levels of existence, including the body, our emotions, thinking patterns, our behaviors, and our spirit. I believe we all have the ability to transform old patterns, belief systems, emotional blocks and defenses that do not serve us, so that we may fully step into the pleasure, love, and fulfillment that life has to offer.

I am an Associate Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Washington (licence No. #SC61309891) and have a masters in Clinical Social Work from Seattle University.

I have a bachelors of science in Food and Nutrition from Seattle Pacific University. I personally focused my nutrition perspective on the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach. HAES states that our health is not determined by the size or shape of our bodies, and works to end negative attitudes and oppression of fat and large bodies.

As a cis white woman, I am deeply committed to unlearning my own internalized racism, bias, and prejudice, and strive to dismantle systems of oppression in therapeutic, community, and academic systems of which I belong. I aim to be a trusted space for BIPOC and queer clients to discuss the role of oppression and culture in their healing work.

Outside of work, I play piano and sing, train in strength and mobility work, sauna and cold plunge, study herbalism, astrology, and human design. I love to spend time outside in nature, trying new restaurants with my loved ones, cooking, thrifting, experiencing live music, and dancing.
